The Chicago Outfit
Containing
approximately 20,000 words and 180 photos, The Chicago Outfit is
the only complete history of organized crime in Chicago, covering
the period from 1900 until the book was released in 2003. It focuses
on the Chicago Mob’s leadership and business activities as
well as the violence and political corruption they use to achieve
their ends. The final chapter examines why the Outfit has been the
most successful of the Cosa Nostra crime families and why it has
declined since its zenith around 1960.
The book is available through bookstores, internet booksellers
